After the TV Time shutdown

TV Time has shut down: where to keep tracking your shows

TV Time closed its doors on 15 July 2026, taking the history of its 26 million members with it. FriendFlix does what the app did — episode-by-episode progress — puts films in the same library, and uses your ratings to suggest what comes next. If you retrieved your archive before the shutdown, the import reads it and rebuilds your tracking.

With your archive, you start from something

TV Time offered a data export right up to the shutdown. If you saved that archive, drop it into FriendFlix: your shows, watched episodes and ratings come across as they were. If you did not, the history is gone for good — the accounts were deleted — but telling us the season and episode you are on rebuilds the essentials in a few minutes.

The tracking you knew

Progress by season and episode, a calendar of upcoming airings, and picking up where you left off. Nothing that made you open a show tracker every evening has been taken away.

What tracking alone never did

Knowing where you are does not answer "so, what now?". Here your ratings build a taste profile, and every suggestion comes with the precise reason it surfaced.

Free, ad-free, and reversible

FriendFlix is free and shows no advertising. Your history is private by default, and you choose who you cross it with. You can export your data or delete your account whenever you like — after what just happened, that is not a detail.
